File Uploads
Our school’s WordPress MU installation hosts about 100 blogs. Over the six months that it’s been up, users have uploaded about 1700 files. I was driving around in the uploads directories today and got curious about what kind of stuff teachers are wanting to make available. Turns out, it’s mostly images, which I have to guess is more about building nicer web pages than it is about academic content.
Word documents are still more popular than PDF (sigh) and there are a surprising number of mp3s. I wonder how this will change over time.
